"Brightest Light" is the happiest single off of my album, Be Bold, releasing May 5th. It is a fun, lighthearted acoustic song with some ukulele flair. I wrote this when I was in Hawaii for an internship. Missing my sweetheart (and my puppy), I did what I often do when I need to process something: I compose. Through music, I'm able to convey complex emotions and feelings that my feeble vocabulary will never be able to express. Through instrumentation, chord structure, and lyrics (sometimes), I'm better able to share exactly what I'm feeling.
